This continuing education program will outline the requirements and resources to initiate oral contraceptive therapy in women eighteen (18) years of age or older in Arkansas. This protocol is issued pursuant to Act 408 of 2021 (HB1069)(Arkansas Code 17-92-101) to authorize licensed pharmacists in Arkansas to initiate oral contraceptive therapy in accordance with the provisions of Arkansas Code 17-92-115 and the guidance provided therein.
